Milan Hrbek - Senior partner

Milan Hrbek is the founding partner of the Law Firm ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK. He has acquired valuable experience in representing clients in many transactions and projects, including transactions with securities, acquisitions of undertakings and companies, privatisations, restructuring of debts and projects related to real estates. Milan represents clients in the out of court settlement of disputes and mediation between disputing parties. He is highly sought after expert for leading the disputes in all types of proceedings – in the court, administrative and arbitration proceedings, but also in disciplinary proceedings in profession chambers. In these disputes there are very often resolved legal issues which are highly relevant for further development of application practice in concrete legal relations.

Milan received his law degree in 1984 from the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. After graduation he worked in the office of the district prosecutor of Bratislava II and in 1991 he became the District Prosecutor for the district Bratislava II. In 1992 he started a private practice as a founding partner of the law firm known since 1997 under the name ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK.

During 2006 Milan was a member of the Legislative Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic. From 2004 to 2007 he was a member of the disciplinary senate of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic and in 2010 he was elected into the disciplinary committee of the Slovak Bar Association and appointed as the chairman of the disciplinary senate.
