ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK is a law firm providing legal advice and legal consulting (“legal services”). The firm acquired the authorization to provide legal services upon its registration into the list maintained by the Slovak Bar Association with the effect from April 3, 2008. The partners of the law firm are qualified Slovak advocates admitted by the Slovak Bar Association.
ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK provides legal services in accordance with the Act No. 586/2003 Coll. on Advocacy as amended and in line with the respective regulations of the Slovak Bar Association. The agreements on the provision of legal services between the company and its clients are governed by the Slovak law and prospective disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Slovak courts, unless the applicable legal rules provide otherwise or unless otherwise agreed with the client.
ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK provides its services for remuneration, the amount and form of which is agreed with the client prior the services are provided. The remuneration is agreed in compliance with the Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic No. 655/2004 Coll. on the remunerations and compensations of advocates for the provision of legal services as amended.
ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK is liable for damage caused by the provision of legal services in accordance with the Act No. 586/2003 Coll. on Advocacy as amended. The firm’s professional liability insurance is agreed with the insurance company Wüstenrot poisťovňa, a.s., with the seat Karadžičova 17, 825 22 Bratislava, Slovak Republic. Total limit of insurance coverage is EUR 10,500,000 for all claims occurred during the insurance period. The insurance covers liability for damage caused by the provision of legal services pursuant to the Slovak law and EU law and damage events occurred on the territory of the Slovak Republic and territory of EU member state and being decided by the courts seated in the Slovak Republic or a court on the territory of EU member state.
